I'm trying to stay awake but it's a losing battle
My claymore cracks into dawn, steel shimmering in sunlight
The UV beams down on me but my armor holds firm; Instead of heady warmth I have sizzling skin
Red meets green as I rush towards the earth, pooling out rich and hot
Blood is thicker than water but slippery as ink, and I was born a squid
My tentacles cry out as the sun claims another knight
